Chetar Arabians ~ MARES

The Chetar Arabians Breeding Program is dedicated to obtaining that extra feature of colour in conformationally correct, typey and versatile Purebred and Derivative Arabians of select bloodlines consistently reknowned for their prepotency in producing extremely high quality individuals.
First and foremost, Chetar Arabians strives to meet the Standard Of Excellence with all of the Chetar horses, and in turn their progeny, and if they inherit a glamorous splash of colour in addition to clearly being an Arabian of the highest calibre, then the goals that have been set for the Chetar Arabians Breeding Program have been met.

Boasting a world class pedigree and a moderate Sabino Overo expression, this beautiful mare has been on my 'must have' list for a long time. That I am now able to call her mine still amazes me months down the track! With an amazingly sweet disposition heading her list of virtues, Kizzle is the whole package and a rare jewel in the Arabian world - The exquisite looks, amazing movement and excellent, correct conformation so consistent with her breeding, all rounded off by the spectacular addition of colour that's so rare in Purebred Arabians without extensive Crabbet breeding all combine to set this lady in a class of her own. Kizzie brings the lines of El Shaklan, Ruminaja Ali, Heritage Memory and Silver Glint/Silver Shimmer to the Chetar Arabians Breeding Program.

Kameeka is 75% Straight Egyptian and more substantially built than most of her Egyptian counterparts, though still posessing the traits that the best of Egyptian breeding is reknowned for. Kameeka has amazing width and length through the hindquarter, and a powerful, ground-covering trot that simply takes your breath away. In addition to her awesome movement and correct conformation, Kameeka has a gorgeous dishy head, with width across the forehead and large dreamy eyes with that much sought after 'tea cup' muzzle. Kameeka brings the Egyptian lines of Raadin Royal Star (impusa), El Hilal and Hoyeda, as well as the lines of some of the more prominent members of the Silver Crabbet family to the Chetar Arabians Breeding Program.

Shyne brings an outstanding pedigree, almost flawless conformation, a willing and loving temperament, and the fantastic addition of not only the Tobiano colour pattern, but the Sabino Overo & Rabicano genes to Chetar Arabians. Shyne is one of the most beuatiful mares, inside and out, that you could hope to come across, let alone call your own. Shyne is a true social butterfly - Be it human company, or that of her paddock mates, Shyne is always the first to greet newcomers and old friends alike. Her wonderful temperament combined with her more than correct conformation and wonderful colour make this young lady an exciting broodmare prospect for Chetar Arabians. Shyne brings the main influence of the sensational stallion Danteffa, and the foundation mare of the internationally reknowned stud Bluegrass Arabians, Nihal Phillipa, through her dam Bluegrass Snap Shot to the Chetar Arabians Breeding Program as well as some of the best pony lines available in Australia.

Penny carries three colour genes - Tobiano, Frame Overo and Sabino Overo. To date this gorgeous mare has produced 100% coloured progeny to solid stallions. A mare than consistently produces progeny that have inherited multiple colour genes from her every time is absolutely priceless in a coloured Breeding Program. Penny is a very aesthetically appealing mare, with the type and presence that results in outstanding progeny when bred to Arabians. Penny is a purebred Paint, and so does not carry any Arabian blood. She does, however, posess some of the most sought after Paint and Quarter Horse lines in Australia, reknowned the world over for their breeding and performance sucess across a range of highly demanding disciplines. Names that are recognized even by those completely unfamiliar with the breeds - The legendary C-Notes Playboy, Vaquero, Doc Bar, Driftwood Bingo, Beggarman and a double cross to the immortal Hired Hand all appear within just four generations.

The acquisition of Reece was the result of years of patient searching on
my part for the first Double Dilute for Chetar Arabians. A rare treasure with a combination of amazingly characteristics that bode extremely well for her future contributions to the Chetar Arabians Breeding Program. The fact that Reece carries the Sabino Overo gene in addition to her double dilution makes her one of the rarest of coloured horses of any breed. Her overall correctness in addtion to her colour traits increase Reece's future contributions to the Chetar Arabians Breeding Program to being near on invaluable. Already proven as a producer of show quality Arabian Derivatives, Reece is indeed a rare find that I feel will make a perfect dam for Chetar Arabians first generation of homebred dilute progeny.

Tiffie is one of the most recent additions to the Chetar Arabians mare band, and another of the mares that I have been waiting patiently for for a number of years. Tiffie carries a single copy of the creme gene, and two colour pattern genes - Tobiano and Sabino Overo, making for a colourful mare that I feel will breed some amazing progeny for Chetar Arabians. Tiffie is registered 50% Arabian, though in actual fact is more than 68% Arabian. She brings the lines of the immortal El Shaklan and Ruminaja Bahjat, full brother to the phenomenal Ruminaja Ali, through her sire Caramea Checkmate, as well as the influence, through her dam, of a number of the highly respected individuals of Avondale Stud, reknowned for producing consistent Arabians of the highest quality and type for generations past.

The beautiful Wayward Angel joined Chetar Arabians in early 2009. Angel is as gorgeous on the inside as she is on the outside, with a wonderful temperament to go with her stunning looks.
Originally thought to be a Mahogany Bay [Bay + Shade], I had suspicions that Angel may in fact be a Fading Black after she produced a black colt foal to a chestnut based stallion in 2008. I subsequently had Angel tested, and it was recently confirmed through DNA profiling that Angel is in fact Black based and does not carry a dominant Agouti allele [Bay Gene].
Angel has been bred to the awesome Purebred Arabian Stallion SANTIAGO KEI (Napolean KEI x Ashbrook Specialty) for a 2009/10 foal for Chetar Arabians, whose lines are a more than welcome addition here.
I would like to send my sincerest thanks to the amazing Kerry James of Krystal Creek Arabians in Northern NSW for not only allowing Angel to become part of my family, but for all of her help and friendship over the past months.

A highly unique individual in both breeding and colour makes Shay an extremely exciting addition to Chetar Arabians. Shay is a Wild Bay - She carries the rare, primitive allelle counterpart to the more common Bay at the Agouti locus that further restricts black to leave an interplay of red and black hairs along the pastern, fetlock and lower cannon regions only. In addition to her rare base colour, Shay is also a Sabino Overo with white ticking as well as solid patching, large enough for her to be registered Pinto.
Shay brings the lines of some of the Arabian world's most influential horses of all time to Chetar Arabians. She carries a double cross the immortal stallion El Shaklan through his son, the great Simeon Sa'ar, and is a granddaughter of the Australian National Champion Stallion Anaza El Nizr, son of the world reknowned Ruminaja Ali. What really sets Shay apart though is her triple cross to arguably Australia's most famous mare, Naadirah, with those crosses being through her most successful of daughters - Two through Nara (x Hadban Enzahi) and the third through Naazirah (x Mustafa). Multiple crosses to Hadban Enzahi and Ansata Ibn Halima, and the likes of Ambition and Sankt George, round out an undeniably impeccable pedigree combined with the rarest of colouring that has produced an extremely beautiful, highly unique, correct individual full of feminine grace and presence!

Miselle is a 50/50 Anglo Arabian, one of only a few Anglos sired by the great purebred stallion Danteffa - Miselle is one of just two females of that number, and the only out of the sensational TB mare Satin Supreme. Miselle is a lovely example of the TB Arabian cross, being very pretty with a lovely dishy head and huge eyes, fantastic conformation and awesome movement. She is a multi Supreme Champion in hand and under saddle, and has already proven herself to be a wonderful producer of quality progeny with the 2007/08 Season born filly sired by the now gelded Straight Egyptian Stallion Kaysand Prince Of Dreams - Chetar Enchanted Dreams - aka Hannah, who can be viewed via the Youngstock Page.
