Kaysand Kameeka was the first purebred mare to join me under the Chetar Arabians stud name. She is a beautifully natured mare, and is just as lovely on the outside as she is on the inside.
Kameeka has a gorgeous dishy head with large eye, and the most amazing, elevated trot. She carries more than 75% Straight Egyptian breeding, and her non Egyptian lines trace to the Silver family and the earliest Arabian imports to Australia. Kameeka has a more solid, stronger build than many of the modern day Egyptian bred Arabians though still retains that classic "look" and movement that Egyptian Arabians are reknowned around the globe for - She has the substance but has retained the beauty!
All coloured breeders will tell you that any grey they own is indeed something special, and it was all of these amazing attributes that had me snap up the opportunity to call Kameeka my own.

Kameeka is Bay Based Fleabitten Grey. She is heterozygous for the Grey Gene, meaning she is able to produce solid coloured (Non-Grey) progeny as well as grey progeny. Kameeka is also heterozygous for the Extension gene and therefore is able to produce Chestnut based offspring as well as Bay based.
With the birth of Kameeka's first foal bred here at Chetar Arabians in the 2009/10 Season - CHETAR EL TAYIESHAH - it has also been discovered that Kameeka carries the recessive genetics required to produce Flaxen Chestnut progeny. Not only is Tayieshah, who is the second Purebred Arabian bred at Chetar Arabians, Flaxen Chestnut based, but she is also a Maximum Rabicano. While Ty's sire, AZZAAM, is also a Maximum Rabicano, it is theorized that the maximum expression of this white roaning pattern gene require both parents to possess the genetic makeup in order to produce a maximum expression foal - If this theory proves correct, Kameeka carries the Rabicano Gene.

Kameeka was bred by Jacqui and Trevor Webb of Kaysand Arabians. She is sired by the imported [from the USA] in utero Straight Egyptian Stallion Ali Kamar, and out of the stunningly beautiful and highly successful show and breeding mare Sorella Royal Astra.
Ali Kamar is the only stallion in Australia by the awesome son of the great El Hilal, Imperial Al Kamar, bred by the world famous Imperial Egyptian Stud. Kamar is still owned by Kaysand Arabians and is no longer available at stud.
Kameeka carries two crosses to the Straight Egyptian stallion El Hilal close up in her pedigree, with the other cross being through the legendary mare RDM Maar Hala, the matriarch of the broodmare family that consistently produces "the look" possessed by Kameeka and her maternal family members. In addition, Kameeka is the only progeny of Sorella Royal Astra to be sired by Ali Kamar and just one of two remaining purebred daughters of this wonderful mare. Years after her passing, Astra is still remembered for her exquisite beauty, substance, wonderful nature, and ability to consistency pass

Kameeka was purchased in 2006 for the main purpose of being bred to Chetar Arabians then Purebred Arabian weanling colt, Azzaam, when he reached breeding maturity. The 2009/10 Breeding Season saw this planned breeding come to fruition with the arrival of Kameeka's first foal for Chetar Arabians.

The night of 5th March 2010 saw the arrival of the second Purebred Arabian bred by Chetar Arabians and the third born daughter sired by Azzaam [from four foals]. I had hoped that this breeding would produce a solid based version of Kameeka. What I was blessed with was so much more than I could've hoped and prayed for, let alone expected! Chetar El Tayieshah is an exceptionally stunning and unexpected - coloured - surprise!

Kameeka is for sale only due to my decision to retain her 09/10 filly, Chetar El Tayieshah. Tayieshah is an exceptional young filly with a very bright future in the show ring, and she is also coloured! Tayieshah can be seen via the Youngstock Pages.
Kameeka has a fantastic temperament, and is very easy to do anything and everything with.
She's an easy breeder, whether hand or paddock served. Kameeka was the one chosen to introduce Chetar's purebred stallion to his stud duties as a young colt, she shows that well, and is that easy to handle and serve - And anyone who has had or seen the task of teaching a young colt to hand serve knows how tedious - and how important! - the first few times covering can be for horse and handler alike. Kameeka also has the temperament to make a fantastic saddle mount with very little work.
Kameeka is fully show halter trained and has previously been shown in hand sparingly for multiple AA and A Class Supreme Champion, Champion and Reserve Champion accolades, including at the Egyptian Event.
Kameeka is priced at $4,500 empty, or can be bred back to Azzaam for a full sibling to Chetar El Tayieshah at additional cost. Azzaam does not stand at Public Stud and to date has a 100% colour production and 75% female progeny production rate.
I may also consider leasing Kameeka to the right home depending on the situation. I would consider only a Foal for Foal Lease, and only to an approved Stallion. Terms and Conditions would of course apply.
