who are born beautiful but that will "go off", sometime around the age of becoming a yearling through to two year old, Zahirah has never "gone off" and has only grown more beautiful with maturity. All of the above photos of Zahirah were taken in September of 2010 prior to Zahirah losing her very woolly winter coat, on a dreary overcast day and without any kind of preparation - I simply took out the camera while she was playing with her best mate Chetar El Tayieshah and snapped a few photos of the lovely ladies mucking about.. Even though these photos were so spontaneous it is easy to see the quality and beauty of Chetar El Zahirah! She is such a lovely filly inside and out that she is the first and only predominantly solid coloured foal that I've retained for future breeding use! Personally, I think that fact says it all!
Chetar El Zahirah is sired by the Straight Egyptian Arabian Stallion Kaysand Prince Of Dreams. Prince is by the imported in utero stallion Ali Kamar (iidUSA), out of the Tarong Shahgig mare Arundel House Sharah (x Arabian Park Egyptian Perfection). Prince was bred in the purple, yet was only utilized by myself as a sire for a short time due to injury. Zahirah is one of only three foals, and the only Part Bred Arabian, to have been sired by Prince prior to his being gelded.
Zahirah's dam, Shyning Lyte, is by the multi Supreme Champion stallion Raven Lodge Born Brave (Lakevale Cheyenne x Raven Lodge Moonlight Sophistication), out of the stunningly beautiful dam of multiple Australian National Champions Bluegrass Snap Shot (Danteffa x Nihal Phillipa). Zahirah's pedigree speaks for itself - She was bred for beauty to breed on, and that she will do, right here at Chetar Arabians!
