Early on Boxing Day Morning 2009 the second foal for the 2008/209 Season for Chetar Arabians arrived at 1.55am. I'd been waiting three long years to see my much beloved Paint Mare Docs Lil Puzzle to be able to shower her loving attention on a beautiful baby, and finally the day had arrived! His name is "Chetar Al Shahkir" (pending), and he is everything I knew he would be plus much more!
Shahkir is Arabic for 'Thankful', which is a total understatement of the emotion this young man invokes in me, and also in those that know of Penny's history. Shahkir truly is a dream come true.
